Order of the Flame was an excellent game. A Drakan remake would be fun to do, but I'm already doing an engine reimplementation for a different game, which I would definitely not be able to complete in my lifetime if I had to do the art too. Still remember there were some members that tried to make new NPCs or Rynn character but it also either was unfinished or finished but only as high poly so it has to bake low poly to make it playable for players. I'm still fairly swamped with projects/work for roughly another year, but I've been learning on that engine and everything I read about those 2, UE4 is just better/more efficient to work with.

Texture animations are loosely defined. There isn't any. Of course, as for old Drakan models, you can use DB reader by BuXXe that it'll let you to export objects of Drakan including buildings, characters(Rynn,Arokh, orcs, Wartoks etc.) In this remake I'll try to make new models from scratch or just to use free assets.

For this moment remake use nearly about 95% of new assets completely different than original Drakan I am talking about trees, terrains,rocks, player movement,input manager,gamemanager, animations,sky etc. Unfortunately, best matches are probably on PC. The loading screens and frame rates were breathtaking in many instances. If you ever decide to switch over I can try and lend a hand. The combat, flying and exploration was great for the time.
