There is shuttle for every hour to the heart of the city which gave easy access to shopping, the boardwalk, beach and the casinos thus we didn't have to rent a vehicle or call cabs. Usually I stay at the Showboat ( which by the way is a excellent hotel) but they were booked. Lots of pros and cons.-the interior of our room was very clean. I wish they would have told us ahead of time. This means we had to make sure the balcony door was locked every time we left the room. The room was OK, some were better than others. If you want to shop for food in the community, there is not much at all; a liquor store a few blocks away, a few tiny convenience stores. We booked our vacation for 7 nights but left after 5. I went in and called the front desk, they informed me that the elevators were broke and we would have to call when we needed it. There is supposed to be dish washing liquid under the sink but there wasn't.
