These were a bit dry using fresh peanut ground butter but I just added more peanut butter and dates and they came out absolutely delicious. To all the folks out there who had crumbly dough: mine was crumbly, too, bc my dates were a little old and dry.

I love your recipes! How many medjool dates in 1 cup? Often, you're able to replace eggs in a recipe with bananas because of the similar texture, and that works perfectly here. Curious since I only eat baked oatmeal or cooked. The quick bake time will keep your cookies from over-baking, making the end result soft and chewy. The chocolate shell can get soft at room temperature, so it’s best to store them in the refrigerator. A cookbook was published showcasing a cookie recipe utilizing chopped peanuts, inspiring the recipe that later came with peanut butter included for a smoother texture. But if they are already sticky and moist, the texture may be off. Love how there is no added sugar & the ingredients are simple! The cookies will be puffier straight out of the oven and then will settle a bit as they cool. My husband absolutely loves them.

I didn’t try coconut flour in this recipe. Plus, It’s refined sugar-free. Super easy, delicious, filling – but not in the bloaty-icky way.

Looking forward to trying the glaze next time but the melted chocolate chips created a nice hard shell that contrasted greatly with the soft cookie :). And they've been around a long time.
