It feels very protective and I like how it is soft on the inside. It's way more function over fashion, but really well done.

I did another review because I didnt think my review or the others did this bass much justice.
Out of the box, I had to loosen the truss rod a hair over a 1/4 turn and it was perfect. This bass is that good' a little single coil hum from the bridge pickup but that's to be expected in a PJ bass. I'm going to keep this short' let's just say if I found this bass first the 3 fenders and lakland I have would have never been bought. Because, I don't know how they would be. You will find any tone ( other than the musicman) with this bass. The treble knob works as a tone knob on passive mode.
