    why serve down the middle on second serves? a wide kick serve is easier to
    hit, has larger margin for error, and opens the court for a volley or
    run-around. FYB talked about this on his blog.

    @Anonymous1100 I respect FYB–it’s a solid site, but there are a lot of
    theories out there–if you serve and volley, the wide may be an option as a
    change up or to pressure. but if you baseline, the wide serve opens up a
    lot of holes…what did he say about the runaround for the server?

    I always heard, never go down the line unless it’s a winner or it’ll

    @tonynguyeniscool i woke up at 4 a.m. (i’m on vacation) was inspired to
    finish this–i had doodled notes to myself a month ago, so i finally
    started and finished it–problem can’t upload the whole vid so did half and
    will do half tomorrow hopefully. doubles…hmm kay

    @NonDairyYogurt the official rules i heard once were 1) passing shot 2)
    approach shot 3) only if they’re off the court. my rule is be balanced,
    don’t hit it wide, and hit through

    @Anonymous1100 angles my friend, angles–you kick it wide–they can nail it
    short tee cross or down the line. you go middle, you reduce the angles so
    they can only go corner–you can get the corner shot, but the short tee
    shots–tough. and everyone is taught to runaround a kicker on the ad to
    nail an inside out forehand to your backhand, then off your weak reply, hit
    the cross finish and come in
